Welcome to the Math Doctor Tutoring Service’s website. We at the Math Dr specialize in, in home tutoring in Math and Science in the Glendale, California area. Our tutors are very experienced in these areas and specialize in ways of simplifying the subjects to make them easily understandable by the student. We are located in Glendale California and and we routinely service the area from Burbank to Pasadena.
We have been in business since 1998 and stopped advertising in 2003 because we were getting so busy that we either had to expand which meant alot more administration or we needed to slow things down. Since we were all teachers and worked all day and tutored all night, slowing down sounded good. We still continued to expand for 4 more years just on word of mouth but eventually things leveled off. This was probably a mistake because eventually things started to slow down and continued to slow down. We still had word of mouth but we graduated alot of Seniors and, while some of these got tutoring when home on vacations, most of the people being referred were older and ready to graduate. But then our lead tutor,Ron Hartwell, went into semi-retirement so we decided to build a web site and start advertising again since Ron could do all the work.
